Public Looking for German Shepherd That Ran From Crash in Farmington Hills

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police and Fire Departments are asking for the public’s help to locate a lost German Shepherd. At approximately 1:45 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 24), a multiple vehicle crash occurred on westbound I-696 and Halsted Road. A black pickup truck with two occupants rolled several times, coming to rest in the northbound ravine by the freeway. The male and female occupants of the vehicle, who live in South Lyon, were injured and transported to a local hospital.
Following the accident, a dog who belongs to one of the truck’s occupants ran from the vehicle. The missing dog, named Bo, is a nine-month-old German Shepherd who weighs 70 pounds. He was last seen running away from the accident to the north and is not wearing a collar. Farmington Hills Police Officers and Firefighters have searched the area and have not been able to locate him.
