Go Fund Me to Support Daughter of Deceased Madison Heights Fire Captain
Madison Heights, MI – A GoFundMe page has been set up for the daughter of the Madison Heights Fire Captain who died on duty March 1. According to the fundraiser, hosted by Greg White:
“On March 1st, 2021 Captain Jeffrey Brozich died while on duty unexpectedly. He was 57 years old, with 20 years of public service. I am writing this story because Brianna’s Dad would want her to be taken care of.
“Brianna is 16 years old with her whole life ahead of her. Brianna is an exceptional student with great grades and has dreams of going to college to become a Nurse Practitioner. Brianna has been active in sports since she was little, and she is currently a softball pitcher. Softball was a passion that she shared with her father.
“Brianna’s mother is her sole provider and I want to make sure Brianna is taken care of. Brianna’s mother has been a stay at home mom since 2019 and is currently fighting breast cancer.
“Jeff’s death came so unexpectedly, and her family is not financially prepared to provide Brianna with all the necessities she will encounter throughout the next several years. We relied on Jeff, his guidance and support to help get Brianna the direction and support she will need in preparation for her life ahead.
“While Brianna’s mother continues her fight with cancer, I am going to handle all of Brianna’s financial affairs. I am Brianna’s uncle and will use these funds to best serve her needs.
“Thank you, and please keep Brianna Brozich in your thoughts and prayers as she mourns the loss of her father.”
