March 27 – Stand in Solidarity with Asian Community Rally in Royal Oak

Royal Oak, MI – A solidarity march is being organized by community members in Royal Oak through Facebook. The event page says:

“Stand in solidarity with those in the Asian American communities! We must amplify their voices and their pain. STOP ASIAN HATE! This is not the time to stay quiet nor justify violent behavior because one is “having a bad day!” Hate should have no place in our lives.

“In light of the recent attacks and hate crimes done against our Asian community we are hosting a Solidarity March. We demand awareness, action, justice, support and peace! RACISM IS A VIRUS PLEASE BRING WATER TO STAY HYDRATED and DONT FORGET YOUR SIGNS! Practicing social distancing and please make sure to bring a mask!”
