Ferndale Welcomes Elementary “Roomies” to In Person Learning
(Ferndale Schools, March 5, 2021)
Ferndale, Oak Park, Royal Oak Township, and Pleasant Ridge, MI – In-Person learning resumed for some students in our elementary schools on Monday, March 1st. We’re so happy to share with you a few faces enthusiastic about learning with their Ferndale Family.
Mrs. Pironello welcomed 12 Kindergarteners back into her classroom this week.
Mrs. Carp’s 5th grade class celebrated their top learner, Lauren McMillar, in a Kahoot learning system quiz.
Mrs. Carp’s classroom also features an exercise bike, purchased through COVID grant funds by the 5th grade for brain breaks within the classroom (to prevent extra movement in the building) and to allow for movement for students (with an entire sanitizing element as well).
Students in Mr. Davis 5th grade class were excited to play on their familiar playground before the new equipment is installed over the summer.
Second Grade teaching staff hopped together for a quick photo. Look at those happy learning leaders!
Zoomie students continue to have fun learning from home, including Mrs. Cover’s little rabbits!
