Service to Honor Deceased Madison Hts Fire Captain Jeffrey Brozich
On Friday, March 5th, the Madison Heights Fire Department will honor the life and service of Captain Jeffrey Brozich, who died in the line of duty Monday, March 1. Captain Brozich, while on duty, went to sleep Sunday night. During an emergency call at 3 am, when Captain Brozich did not report to his truck, his fellow firefighters found him unresponsive in his quarters.
Captain Brozich served the department honorably since December 22, 2000. He rose through the ranks receiving promotional to Sergeant in 2011, Lieutenant in 2016, and Captain in 2019. He leaves behind his wife Lindsay Brozich, a Madison Height Police Officer, and daughter Brianna, stepchildren to Lucy and Milo.
Captain Brozich will be laid to rest with all honors bestowed to those who give their life in the line of duty.
