Reporter Food: El Mariachi in Novi

Novi, MI – Thanks to a couple of reader suggestions, a friend and I decided to get some takeout from El Mariachi in Novi.  This Mexican restaurant is in the same shopping center as Sizzle It, a restaurant I previously wrote about, so that was neat.
My friend had the Burrito Al pastor, stuffed with pork, lettuce, muenster cheese, guacamole and sour cream with sides of rice and charro beans. I had the chicken taquitoes which were deep fried corn tortillas rolled with chicken and topped with lettuce, muenster cheese and tomatoes which I also added queso cheese to.  This also came with rice and charro beans.
El Mariachi has a menu full of Mexican options including tacos, burritos, and fajitas. There’s also chicken tortilla soup, shrimp enchiladas, and many many more choices.  Carryout is easy with their online ordering system, though be sure to check your route because there is construction in the area.
