Reporter Food: The Grand Diner in Novi

Reporter Food: The Grand Diner in Novi

Novi, MI – The Grand Diner has a classic look and a menu full of American dishes.

I got a breakfast burrito which came stuffed with sausage, American fries, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese, wrapped in a soft tortilla and topped with sausage gravy. It was delicious. It can also be ordered with bacon or ham.

Other breakfast choices include a selection of omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and skillets.

For lunch and dinner some of the many options include turkey and tuna melts, Cobb salad, shrimp basket, burgers and pitas, and a soup of the day.

The restaurant was open for carryout only when I went, but I was able to glimpse the old school booths, the working juke box, and the interesting 1950s pattern of the countertops.  They’ve since reopened for dine in service.

The Grand Diner is located at 48730 Grand River Avenue in Novi. See more of their menu at www.TheGrandDiner.com
