Troy Firefighters Rescue Cat from Tree

Troy, MI – One of Troy’s tiniest, furriest residents is safe after his human called the fire department for help.  The cat, whose name is Smokey, was stuck in a tree.
First responders from Fire Station 5 used a ladder truck to reach the scared little kitty, and which thick gloved hands they carried him down to safety.
“We are happy to report that Smokey is out of the tree and back with his family tonight,” the department announced on social media. “Nice work Station 5!”
