Oakland County Seeking Two Members for Parks and Recreation Commission

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for two citizens to serve on the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission. Interested individuals will be applying for a three-year term beginning in January 2021. The application can be found at online forms.oakgov.com/79, and all applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 11.
The Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for preserving park land and creating recreational, leisure and learning experiences for Oakland County residents. Members selected to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission will attend meetings at 1 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Commission members receive a $90 per diem and mileage reimbursement.
To be eligible for appointment, you must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen and a resident of Oakland County.
