Reporter Food:  Hunter House in Birmingham

Birmingham, MI – It’s been a few years since my last Hunter House visit, but I’m happy to report that the greasy, cheesy, oniony, sliders are still as delicious as ever!
Since 1952 this Birmingham staple has been serving up the beef (and the fries).
For a recent carry-out order I got a double cheeseburger and chili cheese fries with that goopy orange sauce and sweetly spicy chili. All these classic tastes were delightful for a cool winter day. The meat, buns, and pickles are all Michigan-made, and the folks on the grill still know how to steam the buns just right.
In addition to the classic sliders, Hunter House offers kosher hot dogs, onion rings, tots and more. Try a root beer float or a smooth creamy malt for your sweet tooth, or come early in the day for breakfast.
They’ve recently added online ordering, making the pick up process even easier.
