Ferndale, Hazel Park, Madison Heights, MI -The recent retirement of Judge Chuck Goedert created a vacancy in the 43rd District Court. In the short term, the seat is held by Brian Hartwell who was appointed by the Governor to serve out the remainder of the term. He is running to retain the seat, and Kelly Collins is also on the ballot.
This nonpartisan position has a six year term.
