Man Shot to Death After Dispute Over Place in Line at Haunted House

Pontiac, MI – Early Saturday morning, a homicide occurred in the City of Pontiac and Pontiac Substation Detectives are trying to identify the individuals in these photos and the vehicle.

Incident:
Deputies and Star EMS responded to Erebus Haunted House located at 18 South Perry Street on the report of a shooting. The caller reported the victim was in the parking lot, laying on the concrete.
The victim and his girlfriend had been waiting in line to enter Erebus Haunted House when a male subject in line ahead of them would not move. The victim and the suspect exchanged words as the suspect thought the victim had cut in line ahead of him. The victim stated to his girlfriend that he was going to his vehicle. The suspect and victim went separately to the parking lot. Witnesses reported hearing shots fired. The victim was struck in the side, neck, and chest. A witness reported that a blue sedan fled the scene at a high rate of speed.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Star EMS transported the victim to McLaren Oakland Hospital where a physician pronounced him deceased. Detectives and the Sheriff’s Office Forensic Laboratory responded to the scene and began their investigations.
VICTIM INFORMATION: 29-year-old male resident of the City of Detroit.
SUSPECT INFORMATION: Unknown, thin black male subject, medium complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing an orange hoodie and jeans.
