37 Year Old Bicyclist Fatally Stuck, Farmington Hills Police Seek Suspect

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle on Middlebelt Road near Liberty Street, located between Grand River and Shiawassee. The crash occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at approximately 9:20 PM.
Investigators from the Farmington Hills Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section have determined that a Ford Explorer struck a bicyclist in the roadway as both were traveling southbound on Middlebelt Road south of Liberty Street.
The victim is a 37-year-old white male resident of Livonia who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stopped to render aid to the victim and is cooperating with investigators. The use of alcohol or drugs do not appear to have played a factor in this tragic accident.
