Teen Injured After Breaking into Walled Lake Central and Jumping from Roof

Commerce Twp, MI – Deputies responded to 1600 E. Oakley Park (Walled Lake Central High School) for a commercial burglary alarm. Deputies arrived and observed four male subjects on the school property. The subjects had broken into the school via a roof hatch that had not been completely secured. The subjects were in possession of a fire extinguisher that they had taken from the school. One of the subjects had injured his leg when he jumped off from the roof of the school.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  Commerce Township Fire Department responded to the scene for the injured subject. He was transported to Providence Park Hospital for treatment. The subject’s vehicle was impounded. The other subjects were released and pending further investigation.
