Ferndale Drive-By Shooting Suspect Arraigned

Ferndale, MI – On Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at approximately 2:29 a.m. Ferndale Police responded to the area of E 9 Mile Rd and Almont for a possible shooting. On scene investigation revealed a drive-by shooting occurred where the suspect fired multiple shots at the complainant’s residence. The house was occupied by two adult females and a 15 year-old female. There were no injuries and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Detectives worked on the investigation for several days. The case was presented to the Oakland County Prosecutors Office and one suspect was charged.
Temika Crawford, 38, of Detroit was arraigned by 43rd District Court Magistrate Brennan on one count Discharging a Firearm at a Building, one count Firearm in Possession by Felon, two counts Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Crawford was given a $20,000 cash or surety 10% bond and is scheduled to appear on August 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
