88 Year Old Struck by Car on Coolidge Passes Away

Berkley, MI – On 7-22-20, the pedestrian who was struck on 7-20-20, an 88-year-old resident of Berkley, passed away. Preliminary investigation has revealed that speed, intoxicants, distracted driving, and the configuration of the road were not a factor in the crash. The pedestrian was crossing Coolidge from the east side to the west between Oxford and Sunnyknoll, where there is no crosswalk, when he was struck. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit assisted in the investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
