Oak Park Officer Aiming for Injured Deer, Sends Bullets into Sleeping Man’s Bedroom, Vehicle

Oak Park, MI – An Oak Park man was woken up early Wednesday morning by the sound of gunshots and a bullet flying into the wall just over his headboard.
According to various reports, the bullets were meant for an injured deer that an Oak Park police officer was attempting to put down.
Oak Park Public Safety Director Steve Cooper spoke with WXYZ news about the incident, telling them that the city would pay for the cost of the repairs to the home and vehicle.  Read more at WXYZ.
