Two Dead in Crash on S. Ortonville Road

Brandon Twp, MI –  Deputies and the Brandon Fire Department were dispatched to the area of S. Ortonville Road and Wiedemann for a personal injury accident on June 27. One of the occupants had been ejected and was possibly deceased. 
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  Deputies and the Brandon Fire Department arrived on scene. A Chevrolet Express Van was traveling south bound on Ortonville when it crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado pick up towing a trailer filled with dirt. The driver and passenger in the van were pronounced deceased at the scene. An Oakland County Crash Investigator was contacted, and the road was closed to traffic. The Investigator arrived and began his investigation. The van crossed the center lane, side swiped the Silverado then collided with the trailer. The driver was ejected from the van and the passenger was partially ejected. Drug use is believed to be a factor in the accident. The occupants of the Silverado were not injured and refused medical treatment on scene. The crash remains under investigation.

PASSENGER OF CHEVROLET EXPRESS VAN:  Michael Boose, 36-year-old male resident of Groveland Twp. (deceased)
DRIVER OF CHEVROLET SILVERADO:  32-year-old male resident of Davisburg
PASSENGER OF CHEVROLET SILVERADO:  19-year-old male resident of Clarkston
