Hazel Park Teen George Dudley Seeks Votes in National #VoicesThatGive Contest

Hazel Park, MI – Fourteen year old George Dudley has a dream, and there’s a way for the community to help him achieve it.
Dudley is a contestant in the Voices That Give competition, a contest designed to help artists of all genres and experience levels showcase their talent. Actress and musician Jen Lilley created #VoicesThatGive out of her dream to release quality music people will love, while helping orphans and children in foster care.
Dudley, playing guitar and singing John Lennon’s “Imagine, has made it to the semi-finals with 46 other artists competing for a prize package fit for an up and coming star.
If he wins in the Musician category, Dudley will receive feedback from legendary songwriter Diane Warren on his performance, a featured interview on Big Time Radio which is broadcast in 44 countries around the world, career guidance by Big Time Entertainment group, and $500.
And if he’s the top vote-getter overall, there’s an additional $10,000 prize, an autographed copy of Jen Lilly’s debut album, and additional national media coverage.
Dudley says his dream is to make music full time.  “I love to play guitar and sing, and I do it every day,” he said.  His favorite song to perform is “Black” by Pearl Jam.
“I started singing before I could fully talk,” Dudley said. “My family would put on music videos on TV and I would sing the sounds they made. I love singing now because I feel it’s a way for me to connect to a story that I can relate to, and because it’s fun.”
The Voices That Give contest gives one free vote per visitor, with the ability to purchase additional votes for $1 each, with 100% of Jen Lilley’s profits going toward building Project Orphans USA, a neighborhood filled with loving foster parents committed to giving orphans and children in foster care the love, stability, and therapy they need.
