2020 Candidate Interview: Rudy Serra for 43rd District Judge

Ferndale, Hazel Park, Madison Heights, MI -The recent retirement of Judge Chuck Goedert created a vacancy in the 43rd District. In the short term, the seat is held by Brian Hartwell who was appointed by the Governor to serve out the remainder of the term.
In the Aug. 4, 2020 primary voters will narrow down the candidate pool to two, who will then face off in the Nov. 3 election.
The candidates are: Kelly Collins, Brian Hartwell, Michael Mitchell, Jim Osak, Rudy Serra, and Dennis Whittie,.
This nonpartisan position has a six year term.
