2020 Candidate Interview: Andy Meisner for Oakland County Executive

Pontiac, MI – In the race for Oakland County Executive there are two candidates from the Republican Party and two candidates from the Democratic Party on the Aug. 4, 2020 Primary ballot.
Incumbent David Coulter is being challenged in the Democratic Primary by current Oakland County Treasurer Andy Meisner.
In the Republican Primary, the candidates are Mike Kowall and Jeffrey G. Nutt.
The winners of each primary will face off on the Nov. 3, 2020 ballot.
Also in the Aug. 4 Democratic Primary, voters in Oakland County will chose between incumbent Jessica Cooper and challenger Karen McDonald for Oakland County Prosecutor. The winner of the primary will then face Lin Goetz who is unopposed in the Republican Primary
For Clerk and Register of Deeds, incumbent Lisa Brown, a Democrat, is unopposed in the primary. On the Republican side voters will chose between Tina Barton and Patrick Wilson.
For County Treasurer there is contention in both primaries, with candidates vying for the open seat. In the Republican Primary the candidates are: Joe Kent and Susan Anderson. In the Democratic race it’s Robert Wittenberg and Robert Corbett, Jr.
For Water Resources Commissioner, Democrat Jim Nash is unopposed in the primary. In the Republican race, the candidates are: Robert Bauxbaum, Steven Johnson, and Jim Stevens.
