June 30 – DIA’s Motown Sound Free Online Presentation for Seniors

In partnership with the Detroit Institute of Arts, Oakland County Parks and Recreation will offer a special virtual program for adults 55 and older on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m.

The Motown Sound Senior Program will draw back the curtain on arrangements, performance, songwriting and production styles of the renowned Motown record label.
Percussionist and songwriter Drew Schultz will lead an educational presentation that features hits by familiar artists including Stevie Wonder; Diana Ross and The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles; The Temptations; The Four Tops; Martha Reeves and The Vandellas; Junior Walker and The All Stars; and more.
