Lake Orion Loyalty Fundraiser Supports Businesses, Has Dollars Matched

Lake Orion, MI – Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority is expanding the Lake Orion Loyalty program to include a crowdfunding campaign for all eligible businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds raised will be matched by Main Street Oakland County (up to $4,000).
Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority will use the money raised to create grants of equal amounts to be distributed to qualifying downtown businesses. Sole proprietors with 10 or fewer employees are encouraged to apply.
Businesses must meet the following criteria:
Businesses need to be located within the boundaries of the Downtown Development Authority: Generally, along M24 from Heights Rd. to Elizabeth St. and in Downtown Lake Orion. Click here to see the map
Businesses require face-to-face/in-person contact.
Businesses cannot be a franchise, major corporation or a publicly-traded business.
