Smashed Windows and Carved Letters: Man Arrested after Vandalizing Vehicle

Pontiac, MI – A Deputy responded to St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital at 44405 Woodward Avenue on a report of  someone carrying out a Malicious Destruction of Property of a vehicle. Security from St. Joseph Mercy Oakland observed a male approach a red 2019 Tesla Model 3 parked in their parking lot who began to vandalize the vehicle. The suspect smashed the windshield and scratched letters on the hood of the Tesla. The suspect returned to his personal vehicle and fled the area before security officers could approach him.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: After initial investigation, a suspect has been located and arrested.  No additional information is available at this time.
VICTIM INFORMATION:  58-year-old female resident of the City of Troy
