Voters Pass Proposals Across Oakland County, Biden Leads in Michigan

Oakland County, MI – Across Oakland County, over 350,00 voters cast ballots in the March 10, 2020 Primary.
Cities and School Districts with funding proposals include Huntington Woods,  Bloomfield Township,  Birmingham Schools, Clarkston Schools,  Farmington Schools,  Ferndale Schools,  Pontiac Schools,  Southfield Schools,  Mott Community College, and  Macomb Intermediate Schools all passing.  As of midnight, only Brandon Schools results were not yet clear.
Funding for the Detroit Institute of Arts also passed in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb Counties. The .2 mil tax helps fund free field trips and transportation for student groups and residents of those three counties get the perk of free general admission.
In the Presidential primary, as of midnight, Republican President Donald Trump was the clear leader of the Republican Primary. For the Democratic Primary it was Joe Biden.  As of midnight the Associated Press showed Joe Biden with about 53% of the votes and Bernie Sanders with about 38%, with 83% of precincts reported.
The March 10, 2020 Primary had an extra bit of celebration to it, as student artwork was featured on the “I Voted” Stickers.  The designs were from a contest to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of women’s right to vote in the United States.
