In one particular instance during this time frame a young teenage girl was recorded using the fitting room. The vehicle has a sun roof and luggage bars on the roof. If you know who this person is we ask that you please contact Auburn Hills Police.
We also advise the public to be vigilant when using fitting rooms at any store. It is advised to examine the room before changing, to ensure that there are no recording devices secretly installed. Some recording devices (cameras) can be as small as the end of a pen or the size of a camera used on a laptop computer. We are also urging businesses who have fitting rooms to regularly inspect the rooms to ensure that no one has tampered with or installed a recording device. If you notice anything unusual, please call the police immediately.
We want to commend the loss prevention staff at Target for immediately recognizing the suspect’s suspicious behavior and for looking into it further. There is no doubt that their actions prevented other people from being victimized by this suspect.
