Reporter Food: Malibu Chicken and the Drew Berrymore at Clean Plates in Ferndale

Ferndale, MI- Clean Plates specializes in healthy meal delivery plans, but they also have a walk-in “Nature Bar” at 149 W Nine Mile, with prepackaged meals, fresh-made smoothies, and seating that looks out at the bustle of Downtown Ferndale.
The Drew Berrymore smoothie was pretty and purple, made with blueberry, banana, berries, almond milk, vanilla protein, and agave.
I also had the Malibu Chicken made with marinated chicken, avocado, hummus, romaine, tomato and vegan mayo.
Clean Plates Detroit is located at 149 W Nine Mile Rd in Downtown Ferndale. There are stools along the windows with a view of Nine Mile.
