Reporter Food: Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich at Royal Oak Brewery

Royal Oak, MI – Royal Oak Brewery has been serving food and libations since 1995.  Recently a friend and I went to enjoy a delicious dinner.
I had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich which is made with Teriyaki chicken breast, grilled pineapple, roasted red pepper, arugula, Fontina cheese and mayo on ciabatta bread.  This was an amazing flavor combination that would not have occurred to me before reading the menu here.
My friend ate the Shepherds’ Pie, a hearty baked dish of classic lamb and beef with English peas, corn and roasted garlic and parsnip mash.
Other interesting offerings include brewhouse nachos, brick oven pizzas, Louisiana Jambalaya, beef stroganoff, honey glazed salmon, pork schnitzel, burgers and more. There’s also a large selection of beers, of which I was unable to partake.
