Clawson Gets Fresh Faces with Scripture, Phillips, and Samson

Clawson, MI- Clawson voters selected a new Mayor and two new council members Tuesday.
Reese Scripture earned 61.33% (1,345) of the votes for Mayor over incumbent Deborah Wooley who got 38.49% (844).
For City Council, Kathy Phillips got 1,568 votes and Louis J. Samson got 1,037 votes, displacing incumbent Howie Airriess by just 7 votes.
Airries had 1,030 votes and Jeff Gaglio, who stated his intention not to run, received 342 votes. There were 6 unassigned write ins.
