233 Bagley St., Pontiac, MI Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will host a workshop on the redistricting application process.

For the first time ever, the power to draw fair election maps in Michigan will be in the hands of citizens. And you can be part of it! Help map Michigan’s future. You’ll make a difference and be paid for your service.

Confused about how to apply?

Learn more about serving on the Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission – no special expertise is necessary, and commissioners will be paid approximately $40,000 for their service.

Mark your calendar and attend this redistricting application workshop hosted by the Secretary of State’s office and community partners.

• This free workshop will include an overview of the new redistricting process.

• You’ll have an opportunity to fill out an application with assistance if needed.

• Notaries will be available to complete the notarized signature requirement for each application at no cost.

• Please bring a photo ID so that notaries can verify your identity.
