Ferndale Library Spooktacular Delivers with Creative Costumes
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct. 30, 2019)
Ferndale, MI – The rain did not keep the trick or treaters of Ferndale from attending the Ferndale Area District Library’s annual Spooktacular Halloween event Saturday.
Among the creative costumes was a family of parcel delivery service providers, dressed like the drivers of the US Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS.
A cardboard egg trick or treated through the aisles full of books with their older chicken sibling. A little girl rocked a kitty-cat themed jumpsuit with legwarmers, her adorable pigtails set behind a thick fuzzy pastel headband with matching sweat bands on her wrists.
Scooby Doo and the Gang handed out treats and helped with games and activities, while a pair of Ghostbusters kept watch over the eclectic crowd.
Those were just some of the many creative ideas that filled the library for the event.
