OC Times Publisher Interviewed for Michigan Municipal League Podcast
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Sept. 25, 2019)
Detroit, MI- As hundreds of city administrators and elected officials from across the state gather in Detroit for the Michigan Municipal League Annual Convention, those checking out the MML website will find an exciting interview on the homepage.
Oakland County Times Editor and Publisher Crystal Proxmire recorded the podcast with MML’s Communications Director Matt Bach at the League’s Capital Conference in March. Interviews done at the conference have been released through the months, and by chance Proxmire’s falls during the MML’s big event this week.
MML describes the interview:
“Matt Bach sits down with fellow-journalist Crystal Proxmire, publisher/editor of the Oakland County Times, which she founded in 2009. Her mission is to cover local community and government issues which impact the cities, villages, and townships of Oakland County. Many of the issues covered in the Oakland County Times are the same ones the League focuses on for our member communities, i.e. voting laws, medical and recreational marijuana, real estate development, and non-discrimination ordinances. Proximire strives to be a resource for Oakland County residents when issues hit their community. For more information on the Oakland County Times, visit http://oaklandcounty115.com/.”
