Sept. 19 – Evening of Jazz to Benefit WYCA of Metropolitan Detroit

Sept. 19 – Evening of Jazz to Benefit WYCA of Metropolitan Detroit

YWCA is on a mission!  You may not know that the YWCA of Metropolitan Detroit has been serving women and children in the Detroit area for over 120 years. This year is no different.  More specifically, we are looking to bring awareness and raise funds to support the operation of the YWCA Interim House.  Ranked amongst one of the oldest and largest in the State of Michigan, YWCA Interim House is a temporary emergency shelter that provides empowerment-based linkages to a “fresh start” to families, women and their minor children that are victims of intimate partner domestic violence.  We need your help.

On Thursday, September 19, 2019 we will host an Evening of Jazz fundraising event. The event will be held at Shriner’s Silver Garden, 24350 Southfield Road, Southfield, Michigan and starts at 6 p.m.  At this event, attendees will enjoy the sounds of SaxophonistAlan Day and Friends Jazz Band, participate in a raffle, silent auction, and win prizes.

There will be live music from saxophonist Alan Day and Friends. Enjoy an evening of entertainment, food and fun. Sept. 19, 2019 from 6-9pm at Shriners Silver Garden 24350 Southfiled in Southfiled. Tickets are $75.
