Warren Police Chase Ends with Crash into Hazel Park Business

Hazel Park, MI – The sound of sirens, metal crunching, and bricks falling broke the silence of a quiet morning at 9 Mile and the I-75 Service drive Saturday following a police chase from Warren.
Police in Warren had responded to a report of two men breaking into an abandoned home, and the suspects had fled. They drove from I-696 to I-75, then exited at 9 Mile where they crashed into several vehicles, damaging a gas station sign, and pushing another vehicle into the building of Hastings Auto Parts.
The suspects were taken into custody.
