Ferndale, MI- The softball diamond at Martin Road Park was put to good use with the recent Celebrity Softball Tournament to benefit Metro Detroit Youth Clubs.

Noah Suitt, who was the 2016 MDYC Youth of the Year joined in as well.  Suitt has been following his dreams of being in sports broadcasting. Earlier this year he interviewed Tiger’s Manager Ron Gardenhire in front of an audience of club kids and supporters.  He is currently working as a Fox 2 Sports Intern.  He credits the Club with helping him follow this dream.
The event also was the local debut of Jack’s BBQ, a food truck based in Clarkston started by Garden Fresh Salsa founder Jack Aronson’s son Trevor.  All you can eat BBQ sales raised funds to help with after-school and summertime programming for youth.
