Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson Dies at Age 80

Oakland County, MI- Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson died at his home in Oakland Township early Saturday morning.  He was 80 years old.
Patterson was serving his seventh term as County Executive. Prior to that he was a Prosecutor.
Earlier this year Patterson announced that he’d been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This story will be updated to include more info about Patterson and his life.
