Motorcyclist from Madison Heights Injured in Crash, Bloomfield Twp Police Seek Info

Bloomfield Twp, MI- On Sunday, June 23, 2019 at approximately 2:53 P.M., Bloomfield Township Police and Fire responded to a report of a car/motorcycle crash. Reports indicate a 2010 Harley Davidson, driven by a 39 year old man out of Madison Heights, was traveling Southbound on Telegraph and drove through a red light, striking a 2017 Buick Envision, driven by an 81 year old female out of Beverly Hills, traveling Westbound at Bataan.  The driver of the 2010 Harley Davidson was transported to a local hospital.  The driver of the 2017 Buick was not injured.  Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the incident.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Traffic Investigations Unit.  Members of the Southwest Oakland County Crash Investigations Team (SOCCIT) assisted with the on-scene investigation.
