Royal Oak Township Voters Say No to Pot Shops, Other May 7, 2019 Election Results

Clawson, Oak Park, Royal Oak Township, and Walled Lake, MI – Royal Oak Township voters decided against allowing marijuana-related businesses, defeating the May 7 Proposal 1 with 29.44% voting yes, and 70.56% voting no. There were 111 yes votes and 266 no votes. There was also a general operating millage renewal on the ballot that passed with 57.26% voting yes and 42.74% voting no.
Requests for funding passed in all Oakland County Elections.
Clawson approved a millage renewal proposal with 84.01% in favor and 15.99% opposed.
In Oak Park Schools the number was 78.23% in favor and 21.77% opposed.
And in Walled Lake Consolidated Schools the school improvement bond proposition passed with 69.15% in favor and 21.77% opposed.
