Nominating Petitions Pulled in Farmington, Still Time to Run for City Council

Farmington, MI- There are three City Council seats open in the Nov. 5, 2019 election and as of May 1 three have pulled nominating petitions – Incumbents Joe LaRussa and Sara Bowman, as well as Sarah Davies.
In this race, the top two with the most votes will get a four year term and the one with the third most votes will get a two year term.  The Council members whose seats will be open this year are Steven Schneemann, Sara Bowman, and Joe LaRussa.
Petitions can be picked up at the City Clerk’s office at 23600 Liberty Street in Farmington.  Applicants must submit at least 50 and not more than 75 qualified signatures, with the deadline being 4pm on July 23, 2019.
