Royal Oak Police Searching for Driver Who Ran Down Two Victims After Bar Fight

Royal Oak, MI- Royal Oak Police are looking for the person responsible for striking two people with a vehicle and fleeing the scene early Saturday Morning.
On February 23, 2019 at 1:53 a.m., Officers were flagged down about a disorderly group outside a nightclub in the area of Fifth and Main Street.Officers arrived and discovered two people had been struck by a vehicle. Paramedics were quickly summoned to the scene as officers searched for the vehicle.
Officers determined a fight between two groups had occurred earlier inside the basement of the Jolly Pumpkin, located at 419 S. Main Street. Security removed the two groups from the club and a male subject from one of the groups got into a Gold or Tan Buick Rendezvous.
Witnesses stated the vehicle appeared to intentionally strike the female victim, turn, and then strike the male victim. The vehicle struck two signs and a parked vehicle before backing over the male victim again. The driver then fled the area. Both victims were transported to Beaumont Hospital where they were treated for non-lifethreatening injuries.
The driver is described as a white male in his 20s with a beard, dark hair, 5’8” tall, 170 pounds
last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a grey jacket. The vehicle has significant front end
damage, a shattered driver’s side window, and a broken passenger side rear taillight.
