Fall From Royal Oak Parking Structure Believed to be Suicide

Royal Oak, MI- Royal Oak Police responded to a 911 call about a man who fell from a parking structure late Friday night. On February 22, 2019 at 11:33 p.m., Officers responded to 212 S. Center and located the gravely injured man. Just after arriving on scene, officers were made aware that Ferndale Police were asking for assistance in locating a suicidal subject who matched the man’s description. Paramedics rushed the 23-year-old victim to Beaumont Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers were made aware, just after arriving on scene, that Ferndale Police were seeking assistance with locating a suicidal subject who matched the description of the man in Royal Oak. Preliminary investigation determined the man jumped from the top floor of the parking structure after becoming despondent over a relationship.
