Royal Oak Police Seek Walgreens Robbery Suspect
The Royal Oak Police Department is seeking information regarding a person of interest related to the armed robbery reported on December 29, 2018 at Walgreens on Woodward in Royal Oak.
Officers responded to the store located at 30852 Woodward, on December 29, 2018 at 11:09 p.m., after receiving a 911 call from an employee. Officers learned a male suspect produced a handgun, demanded money from employees in the office, and fled the store. A Troy K-9 officer was called to the scene to assist and tracked the suspect to a nearby parking lot where officers located tire tracks in the snow. The suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash and no injuries were reported.
