Fire on Carroll Lake Road in Commerce Township under Investigation

Commerce Township, MI – Deputies and the Commerce Township Fire Department responded to the 5000 block of Carroll Lake Rd at approximately 1:36am on the report of a residential structure fire.
The home was abandoned at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.  Upon extinguishing the fire, the Commerce Township Fire Department requested the assistance of the OCSO Fire Investigations Unit.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  An OCSO Fire Investigator responded to conduct a cause and origin investigation.  The cause and origin of the fire remains undetermined.  The incident remains under investigation.
