Farmington Police Warn Against “Porch Pirates”

Farmington, MI – The Farmington Public Safety Department issued an alert Friday with the subject “porch pirates,” stating:
“The city of Farmington Public Safety recently took a report of a white teen male wearing a green jacket , black pants, and with a bandaged left hand attempting to steal packages off of a porch on Gill Rd (between Grand River and Freedom). If you’ve seen this subject, please call Farmington Public Safety at 248-474-4700 ext 2.
“Farmington Public Safety requests the public to watch over their neighbors and report any suspicious activity to police when they suspect someone is attempting to steal packages off of porches.
“Instructions: Call 911 if you see suspicious persons attempting to take packages from porches.”
