Reporter Food: Chicken Wing Deviled Eggs and More at Public House
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Nov. 24, 2018)
Ferndale, MI – Public House in Downtown Ferndale has a menu of unique, almost artistic, items. When I had the chance recently to visit for lunch I was delighted with the trio of Chicken Wing Deviled Eggs. They had a mild flavor and a beautiful presentation.
My dining companion had the classic burger which comes with smoked cheddar, tomato, picked red onion, dill pickle, and PH sauce. I decided to try the Wild Boor sandwich, which comes with PH barbecue sauce, dill pickle, and cole slaw.
We were there for a business meeting, so I skipped having a boozy milkshake. But it’s worth noting because it’s very good. There are also plenty of special cocktails, including the Tom, the Dick, and the Harry. The Boylan Bottling Company Root Beer did go well with this meal.
Public House is located at 241 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI. Check out their menu and more online at www.publichouseferndale.com.
