Grandma Got Ran Over by the QLine and Other Go Comedy! Holiday Shows
Ferndale, MI -After celebrating its TENTH anniversary this month, Go Comedy! Improv Theater will open its 9th original holiday revue, Grandma Got Ran Over By The QLine, this Friday night with performances through December 22. The hilarious new production joins a host of shows on the theater’s holiday schedule. Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows are on sale online at www.gocomedy.net or in person starting at 6:00pm Wednesday through Sunday at the Go Comedy! Box Office.  A complete November – December schedule follows this release.
Grandma Got Ran Over By The QLine
A Collection of hilarious original scenes about life and the holiday season, Go Comedy! happily opens its ninth original holiday comedy, Grandma Got Ran Over By The QLine, November 16. Written and performed by Jen Hansen, Jessica Kay, Sonya Khaleel,  Doug Kolbicz, Pete Jacokes, and Pj Jacokes and directed by Tommy and Michelle LeRoy, Grandma Got Ran Over By The QLine appears Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm through December 22. Tickets are $15-$20.

Naughty And Nice
While the theater’s ninth original holiday revue hits the stage, Go Comedy! is taking a deep dive into its archive with a collection of some of the best sketches from the past eight years in Naughty And Nice. Featuring Alex Bergmans, Anna Imesch, Tess Hannah, Keenan Mullaney, Andy Reid, and Maddie Zavala, with direction by Scott Myers, Naughty And Nice appears Wednesdays at 8:00pm and Sundays
at 2:00pm December 5 – 23. Tickets are $15.

The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown
The theater’s signature show continues to be The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown which has played on Friday and Saturday nights continually for over 10 years. Featuring members of Go Comedy!’s resident company, The All Star Showdown puts two teams of improvisers in an improv competition tailored to challenge their abilities, think on their feet and give audiences a roaring good time. The cast also plays for audience members who take home fabulous prizes when their team wins. It’s a night of hilarious laughs and great times!

Family Friendly All-Star Showdown
A family-friendly version of The Go Comedy! All-Star Showdown. Go Comedy! takes it’s popular weekend show and makes it Family Friendly for everyone! The game show features a series of short improv games, challenges and more.

Pandemonia
More improv than you can shake an invisible stick at! 12 comedians vie for laughs, love and points to see who can be the last one standing through a series of comedic scenes, songs, and even party games. Forever Fifteen
Joe Hingelberg and Travis Pelto met at the ripe age of 15 in their high school improv club, and have been performing together ever since. After asking the audience where they see themselves in 15 years, Joe and Travis perform an improv set that is equal parts fast, grounded, hilarious and ludicrous.

Go Comedy! presents an evening showcasing troupes and performers from Metro Detroit’s LGBTQ community followed by an open improv jam.

Mitch and Matt Present Something Rad
Mitch Socia and Matt Penridge, the minds behind Alexander Hamilton: Fully Loaded, the off-Broadway sensation [you probably never heard of], present a new show that is as bold as it is audacious [we shouldn’t have let them write this description.] It’s one part surreal, one part sketch comedy, one part music, one part Mr. Roger’s neighborhood, and then more parts of other totally cool stuff. Something Rad isn’t just a title, it’s a show. December 27 & 28 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $10 – $18
TEN years of original comedy
In the fall of 2008 the former Ferndale Secretary of State office was transformed into Go Comedy! Improv Theater – a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity. The theater is celebrating its 10th anniversary and is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 50 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition.
