Reporter Food: Mexican Skillet at Old Village Cafe
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct. 6, 2018)
Clarkston, MI- Last week I was passing though Clarkston and decided to give Old Village Cafe a try. It was nice sitting near the front and watching people pass by on Downtown Clarkston’s Main Street.
The restaurant has a typical diner feel, with a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options on the menu. The Mexican Skillet was a great choice. Packed with healthy veggies like onions, green pepper, potatoes, and tomatoes, it also had some good coney-style chili, slices of American cheese, and two eggs on top.
It also comes with toast, and I picked sourdough. All in all this was a great breakfast and I look forward to trying lunch sometime as well. Old Village Diner is located at 2 South Main Street in Downtown Clarkston. Check them out online at http://oldvillagecafe.com.
