Woman Dragged by Car in Waterford, Police Seeking Information

Waterford, MI- On August 31, 2018 at 7:16pm, the Waterford Police Department and Waterford Regional Fire Department responded to a serious pedestrian injury in the 4000 block of Meigs Avenue.
A 20 year old female Waterford resident was leaning into the passenger side front window of a black or dark blue 4-door Saturn Aura stopped curbside. When the vehicle pulled away, the female was dragged a short distance before falling off onto the ground. She suffered a serious head injury and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The vehicle was last seen turning south on Meinrad Drive.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle involved in this incident.
