Clawson Welcomes Rossi Ray-Taylor as Interim Superintendent
 
CLAWSON, MI. – The Clawson Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Rossi Ray-Taylor as Interim Superintendent of the district.  She will replace Superintendent Monique Beels, who is retiring. Ms. Ray- Taylor will serve as interim superintendent until a new superintendent is hired later this summer.
The Board is being assisted in its superintendent search by the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB), a service organization that supports the work of school boards throughout Michigan.
Ms. Ray-Taylor previously served as Deputy Superintendent for Instruction of the Lansing School District and Superintendent of the Ann Arbor Public Schools. She is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ray.Taylor and Associates, a consulting company that provides school district management, program evaluation, instructional consulting, school transformation and turnaround support, and strategic counsel.
A graduate of Michigan State University, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Multidisciplinary Social Science; Master of Arts, Educational Psychology; and Doctor of Philosophy, Educational Psychology.
