Birmingham Offers Residents AquaHawk Tool to Track Water Usage
(City of Birmingham, June 10, 2018)
BIRMINGHAM, MI – The City of Birmingham is pleased to offer residents a new tool that can help them track their individual water usage through a free online dashboard known as AquaHawk.
Registered users to the AquaHawk portal can click to see easy to understand graphic displays of their current and historical water usage. In addition, registered AquaHawk participants can receive phone, text or email alerts when their user defined thresholds—such as gallons used or the projected cost of the bill—has been exceeded. AquaHawk can help residents set water use goals and potentially, save money on their water bill.
“AquaHawk is a valuable tool for our water customers,” said City of Birmingham Director of Public Services, Lauren Wood. “It offers access to water usage data and other useful features such as customized alerting. AquaHawk is a game changer and we are proud to offer it to city residents.”
To subscribe, residents are advised to look for AquaHawk information on their upcoming water bills. You can also go on the City website at http://www.bhamgov.org/government/departments/dps/water_and_sewer.php and click the AquaHawk link to register. Residents can also call the Birmingham Dept. of Public Services at (248) 530-1700 to get more information on AquaHawk.
